No lucky charm for Wycombe Wanderers

News > No lucky charm for Wycombe Wanderers

One of our exciting long-standing local partnerships is with Wycombe Wanderers Education Trust (WWSET) and we have written before about some of the fabulous work they do within the community.

As part of our sponsorship, we were recently offered the opportunity to visit Wycombe Wanderers for a home match and this gave us the chance to entertain and thank some longstanding and new clients.

The match was part of the Papa Johns EFL Trophy against Burton Albion at Wycombe Wanderers home Adams Park, both sides were already out of the competition so it was just pride that was at stake on the night.

In addition to a special feature in the programme and some snazzy pitch-side advertising our Principle Chris Luker was delighted to receive a special Luker Rowe Wanderers shirt presented by Mark Fawkes of WWSET on the Adams Park pitchside.

We were delighted to fill our executive box with 11 keen attendees which included guests Adam & Ian Yost owners of Northolt Glass, Mike Gallaway, FD at P.L. Blake Ltd, Roger Kemp from Focus SB and Rob Walley from RW Consulting Solutions Ltd who joined our Luker Rowe team representatives for fish and chips, drinks and an entertaining game football at Adams Park. Sadly we proved not to be a lucky charm for wanderers on the night as they lost 5 – nil but it was an excellent evening enjoyed by all and it was great to meet and support the WWSET team and all the excellent work they do in the community through the power of sport.
