Rennie Grove Hospice Care Question of Sport Evening Thursday 3rd November 2016

Luker Rowe are delighted to be involved in organising and sponsoring a fundraising Question of Sport Evening on Thursday 3rd November 2016 at Wycombe Wanderers Football Club to raise funds for Rennie Grove Hospice Care. The charity provides care and support for patients diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses and their families. Every year through their 24/7 Hospice at Home service and Family Support services they give thousands of patients in Bucks and Herts the choice to stay at home, surrounded by their families and friends.

Demand for Rennie Grove Hospice Care’s services is growing rapidly in Buckinghamshire and over the next few years the charity must fund a new Hospice at Home nursing team in the county to meet this increasing need. The Question of Sport Evening aims to raise significant funds so the charity can continue to provide its unique service for an ever-increasing number of local families.

All the services are provide at no cost to the patients and their families and Rennie Grove Hospice Care rely on the support of the public to fund around 84% of their £7.2 million pounds annual running costs.

Luker Rowe are proud to support the charity and be involved in organising the Question of Sport Event. Managing Director, Chris Luker, said “Luker Rowe have first hand experience of the fantastic work of the Rennie Grove nurses. We’ve been helping them raise funds for a while and this is another fantastic opportunity to help.”

The evening is taking place at Adams Park, the home of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club. It promises to be a night of unrivalled corporate hospitality. On arrival  you and your guests will be greeted on a red carpet and treated to a cocktail reception. You will have time to browse the silent auction and a photographer will be available to take photos of your team with the celebrity guests before you take your seats. You will enjoy a quality three-course meal with wine and, in-between courses, you will compete as a team to become Question of Sport Champions in a fully interactive sports quiz, featuring questions that have been designed to test a wide range of sports knowledge. An extra opportunity to win prizes comes in the form of the hilarious Red/Green competition.

Following the quiz, the main auction, silent auction and golden ticket raffle take place with a host of spectacular prizes and something to suit everyone’s budget. This event guarantees every guest an evening of great corporate entertainment; limited tables available so please book soon to avoid disappointment.
